Perimeter 8 Hybrid Multirotor Drone Solution

The Perimeter 8 hybrid drone has a max flight time of 4+ hours or can carry up to 5 kg (11 lb.) for 3 hours. The combination of heavy-lift and high-endurance reduces field time from days to hours.

  • The Perimeter 8 is a hybrid multirotor drone that is powered by a hybrid-electric power source. This hybrid-electric power source converts gasoline/petrol into electricity, which is then distributed to the propellers via 8 electric motors. The drone can fly for much longer than a battery powered drone because gasoline has a much higher energy density than that of batteries with >95% efficiency conversion rate.

Safety Systems
  • Return to Home (RTH): Drone performs preprogrammed emergency procedures attempting to reestablish datalink, followed by Return to Home.
  • Link Dead / Link Interference Procedures: Built in fail safes that land the drone safely or circle at a designated altitude until reconnected.
  • Emergency Landing Protocol: Minimizes risk of crash damage – both to aircraft/payload and property/Personnel below.
